1. ENEMIES
----------

 a. Humans: you will mostly meet them in Map Pack #1, on the grassy plains, and in the human towns. They are well trained and equiped fighters, sometimes possessing magical powers also; their great endurance makes them able to deal with great damages. In fights they use swords, which are old and rusty, however - dragon armored and bodyguard type fighters use brand new (and sharp :) ) greatswords. Humans are quick on attack, and their defence is good due to their armor. And never forget: the best human warriors have the ability to reflect your Soultaker's instant-death attack on you, when they are still not injured enough!
TACTIC AGAINST: since Eylin is not a strong and endurable fighter, you must beat them in their quickness - use as fast weapons as you can, keep being close and hit them rapidly. They should not be able to retalliate then. Your starting dagger should be OK for the weaker humans, however - later, you will not really able to fight with bodyguards with a dagger. Also remember that the human fighters' defence is from their armor - weapons with AP damage can be advisable. Other good pick is to run at them, give them a skillsplitter (jump + crouch + attack), then run away. Then skullsplitter again...

 b. Undeads: there are two main types of them.
-Slave looking, or Knight looking: Typical undeads. Slow, but tough on HP, and usually have good damage. They do not possess great speed, and their armor is poor. No special ability.
TACTIC AGAINST: nothing special. You better go for their legs though, that's the weak point. And beware for their attacks - those can be unhumanly cruel ones!

-Undead Rynn Mage (close-ground): once shamans or priests, now being undeads, serving a mysterious dark power or lord. Fast mages, having moderate HP, firing homing weapons. No special ability otherwise.
TACTIC AGAINST: get a bow and shoot at them. However, you will surely lack this thing at many parts of War of Dark Age. So, there is a hit-and-run part: run away, and make them follow you into an area where they can't fly, and then give them a beat! If no such area is near, you can run away, and make them chase you until they fly low enough so you can harm them. Note that they can't teleport themselves!

-Undead Rynn Mage (high fly): quite same abilites as the close-ground, but the floating uses their power, so they cannot shoot as powerful shots.
TACTIC AGAINST: you can only deal with them when using bows, or with your dragon. Lightning can be useful, or Armageddon (when you have it).

 c. Dragons: you will only meet hostile dragons in Map Pack #2. When they fly, you should run away - without tons of arrows and some bows, you will never kill them. You will also meet some in a dark quest - those cannot fly or breath fire. Despite this, they will have tons of HP, and cruel damage when they bite. They won't be too smart or fast in action though...
TACTIC AGAINST: you will never be able to kill the flying ones. Leave them, run away. Against the ground ones: use swords with as high damage as you can. (Since those dragons will be younger ones, they won't have too tough scales... even non-AP weapons will be able to do 100% damage against them.)

 d. Ghosts: you will only meet them in the Dwarven Mines (Light quest). They are from the Netherworlds, and due to this: they are cruel figthers. They can deal with unbelivable damage, they can do high damage with their eternal swords, and they are fast enough to be lethal.
TACTIC AGAINST: they have no weak points. Pick as powerful weapons as you can, both with Eylin and Keil, and give them a nice beating.

 e. Orc and Wartoks: they are well known from the original Drakan: Order of the Flame.
TACTIC AGAINST: no new tactic, use the ones you already know.

2. SKILLS
---------

Skills with Eylin are the same with both dark and light side:
(you always start with the basic level in all skill types)
Archery Basic/Advenced/Master
Sword Mastery Basic/Advenced/Master
Axe Mastery Basic/Advenced/Master
Plate Mastery Basic/Advenced/Master
Fire Magic Advenced/Master (NO BASIC LEVEL!)
Lightning Magic Advenced/Master (NO BASIC LEVEL!)
Poison Magic Advenced/Master (NO BASIC LEVEL!)
Ice Magic Advenced/Master (NO BASIC LEVEL!)

Non-magic skills grant you the ability to use better weapons, which you will be able to buy in shops, once you have the proper skill.

Magic skills will grant you the ability to use different spells as you develop them, which you will get free in magic houses. Advenced magic ability will give you basic, master magic will give you advenced spells of their nature.

3. CHARACTER DEVELOP
--------------------

(Assassin's tips)

Now I will write a few thoughs of the "ideal" characters in War of Dark Age. "Ideal", because there is no perfect character. There are possibly 16 skills (if I am correct :P) and the maximal skill number you can gain is 8 (if you complete all the quests).

First of all: you will need magical skills. Badly. Magic will not run out of durability, and since it is ranged, you will be able to fight without afraiding of being hit. Bad news for magicians is that magical spells have a chance to "disappear" - the spells won't regenerate. Happens. And since Eylin is not a powerful or highly trained mage, she won't be able to cast brutal spells... rather the spells you use will be low-damage ones, so each target will need a few minute shooting at. I'd advise minimally one skill, and four at maximum (two master spellscasting skill).

Warriors can (and will!) use sword and axe mastery skills. This will grant them the use of REALLY good weapons (Lifegiver, Soultaker, and other really useful weapons). These weapons are much more powerful than spells, but their durability is limited, and in close fights you may get (badly) hurt. However, with some training, you can get skilled enough in the use of combos that a good sword will be a lot better than a spell. I advise a sword or an axe mastery master level, there is no need for both though. (You will have no money to buy both weapon types!)

Bow skills will be essiental to kill distant or flying targets. Your normal arrows suck, they are just no use (I think). So I would hastly get an advenced or master bow skill, so you can use even poison or explosive arrows - which are REALLY harmful.

And finally: armor skills. Essiental to not be damaged. First you can think that you banded armor is enough - it is not. You will surely need plate armor, or dragon armor if you are paranoic. ;) However, better fighters won't need such armor things - you can outrun the most of the attacks after a while.
